How to View 360° Panoramas in 3 Easy Steps
- Select or Paste Your Panorama: Drag and drop any 2:1 equirectangular JPG, PNG, or WebP photo into the viewer, paste directly from clipboard with Ctrl+V, or open a live sample scene.
- Interactive WebGL Exploration: Click and drag with your mouse, pan with touchscreen gestures, or use keyboard arrow keys. Switch between standard interior sphere view, Little Planet fisheye projection, and mobile VR cardboard split-screen mode.
- Export or Convert: Slice into 6 cube faces for game engines, project onto a 3D rotating planetary globe, convert into smooth orbital MP4 videos, or inject Google PhotoSphere XMP tags for Facebook.
Core Features & Capabilities
- Free Client-Side 360 Viewer: Open equirectangular photos and Photo Sphere images in real-time WebGL with radar minimap, Little Planet projection, and VR Cardboard split-screen mode. Runs 100% locally in your browser memory with no upload required.
- Text to 360 Panorama AI: Generate 2:1 spherical environments from text using account credits. Generation time and returned dimensions vary.
- Image to Panorama Reference: Steer color palette, illumination sources, and architectural style using up to 3 reference photos.
- Cubemap 6-Sided Slicer: Slice spherical panoramas into 6 rectilinear cube faces (+X, -X, +Y, -Y, +Z, -Z) for compatible skybox workflows. The PNG ZIP is not an Unreal TextureCube asset.
- 3D Planetary Globe: Project 2D world maps and 360 textures onto an interactive revolving 3D globe with atmosphere glow.
- 4K Clarity Upscaling: Resize and sharpen images locally. Upscaling cannot restore missing source detail.
- Poisson Seam Healing: Blend detected boundary differences; ghosting may occur, and inconsistent scene geometry remains.
- PhotoSphere Metadata Injector: Embed official Adobe XMP GPano tags for Facebook, Google Street View, and VR headsets.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I generate a 360° panorama?
Describe your scene (or attach up to 3 reference photos), choose a style and resolution tier, and click Generate. Inspect the result in the 360° viewer, including the horizon, poles, and wrap-around seam. Seam blending automatically treats detected hard boundaries; it can introduce ghosting and cannot reconstruct inconsistent geometry.
How long does each panorama take to generate?
Generation time depends on the model, requested resolution, service load, and network. Follow the progress shown in the studio; completion time is not guaranteed.
What format is the output file?
Download a 2:1 PNG and inspect the actual returned dimensions. You can also export a Radiance .hdr container or a ZIP of six PNG cube faces. Converting an ordinary image to .hdr does not recover captured lighting range.
Does the 360° viewer work on mobile devices and VR headsets?
The WebGL viewer supports touch panning and Cardboard split-screen. Availability depends on your browser and device; native headset WebXR sessions are not provided.
Can I use the generated panoramas for commercial projects?
Paid plans include commercial usage according to the site terms and connected model provider’s terms. Check rights for your reference images and intended use; starter credits are for evaluation.
How does the credit-based pricing system work?
New accounts receive starter credits once after verifying their email, subject to network and daily limits. Each successful generation uses credits based on its resolution. Open Plans & credits for current prices, allowances, and the total charge for monthly or annual billing.
What's the difference between text-to-panorama and image-to-panorama?
Text-to-panorama generates an entire spherical scene purely from your text prompt. Image-to-panorama allows you to attach 1 to 3 reference photos to guide the color palette, lighting atmosphere, and architectural materials, while the model fills out the remaining 360-degree environment.
Can I use these AI panoramas in Blender, Unreal Engine, or Unity?
Use 2:1 images in Blender Environment Texture or Unity Skybox/Panoramic workflows. Check Unreal texture import requirements separately. Radiance export stores image colors in an HDR container; it does not reconstruct scene lighting.
